A 46-year-old man has sadly died following a collision in Scunthorpe.
At around 7.15pm on Tuesday evening (July 16), a man riding a moped along Cottage Beck Road is reported to have left the road and collided with some nearby fencing.
Emergency services attended the scene, but tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers at this difficult time.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We would appeal for anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the collision, who has dashcam footage or witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to us, to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 450 of 16 July.”
