Peacefully after a short illness on Thursday 3rd October 2024 in the amazing care of St. Andrew’s Hospice, Grimsby Gill aged 81 years passed away. Devoted wife of Dave. Adored mum to Steven and Alan, beloved step mum to Colleen, proud nanna to Bethany, Olivia and Eleanor. Gill was also treasured great nanna. loving sister and sister-in-law. She was a wonderful respected lady who will be greatly missed by everyone she had the pleasure of knowing. Ady Suddenly and unexpectedly on 24th September 2024, whilst in the care of the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital Grimsby, Ady aged 45 years sadly passed away. A much loved partner of Emma, a loving dad of Josh, Poppy and Katelin, a treasured granddad of Lucas, a dearest brother of Sean, uncle, nephew, cousin and a good friend to many. Ady will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A service to celebrate Ady’s life will be held at the Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 1st November at 12 noon. Cat will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. (Les) It is with deep sadness that the family announce that after a brave battle with Motor Neurone Disease, Les aged 78 years passed away suddenly but peacefully with his daughters, son-in-law and partner by his side. Les was the adored Husband of the late Margaret, the much loved Dad of Rachel and Natalie and devoted partner of Bett. Les was also the respected Father-in-law of Tony, a dear Brother, Uncle, Brother-in-law and friend to many. Les will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. (WATERS) It is with deep sadness that after a long illness Lucy passed away peacefully on Sunday 29th September 2024 aged 86 years, whilst at her home in Cleethorpes. People may remember our beloved Lucy from living in Hope Street in Grimsby and also working at Birds Eye. Lucy was the adored Wife of Jim, a devoted Mum of Jimmy, Sam and the late Michael ‘Goose’, and a cherished Mother-in-Law of Cheryl and Andy. Lucy was also the much-loved Granny of Georgie, Poppy, Millie and Maisie, a treasured Great Granny of Charlie, Lucas, Lucy and Lenny, a loving sister of Harry and the late, Ann, Douglas and Colin and a very special Aunt and dear Friend to many. Lucy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Lucy’s life will take place at the Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 17th October 2024 at 12noon. (Ken) Methodist Minister and Probation Officer Peacefully on 28th September 2024, in the compassionate care of Ladysmith Care Home, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, with his family by his side, Ken aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband of Barbara for over 66 years, much cherished dad of Susan, Judy and Paul, loving father-in-law of John, Kevin and Andrea, honorary dad of Lynn Cambell and Nick Heywood, treasured grandad of Matthew, Christopher & Emma, Michael & Meg, Stephen, Joseph, Saskia and Abi & Hep, a devoted great-grandad of Charlie, Evie, Rosa and Luke, special brother of Pete, Geoff and Annette, dear brother-in-law of Joan, Jane and John, a loving uncle and great uncle and friend to many. Family was everything to Ken, and he lived his life through his faith and with immense kindness, generosity, humour, wisdom and strength, Ken will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His mind and body are free at last from their earthly constraints, and he rests in the loving embrace of our Lord. Our hearts break to announce that Lee passed away suddenly after a tragic accident on the evening of Monday, 30th September 2024, aged just 42 years. Loving & devoted husband to Mel. Generous & Silly Dad to Chloe & George, special son in law to Stephen & Sue. Lee was also a son, brother & loving uncle, especially to Rhys & Teghan. Lee was simply adored and loved by anyone and everyone who ever met him. Lee’s family would like to think that Lee hasn’t gone forever, more that he’s now enjoying a long-term holiday. Iain David Moulson Iain passed away in Korea on October 1st, 2024, at the age of 52. Beloved son of John and Jeanette. Devoted husband to Claire and loving father of Gabriel and Phoebe. Brother to Colin and Brother-in-Law to Marnie. Cherished uncle to Skye and Ben and a well-loved family member. We are in the process of organising a cremation service in Korea and repatriating Iain to the UK where we will, in due course, arrange a suitable memorial and celebration service of Iain’s life.
