About the Show
I am thrilled to be joining such a great local community radio station. I have lived in Scunthorpe most of my life with forayes to London, Chichester, Portsmouth, Brighton, Lincoln and Doncaster. Went to Frederick Gough school in the 1980s and became a mobile DJ working for Pyrates mobile disco, Nite Fantastic and The amazing music machine where I did residences at The Royal Hotel and The Wortley and many others. I was also a club DJ at Pickwicks and Micawbers, The Blarney Stone, Henry’s and Garbos. Maybe I did your birthday or wedding party? My favourite artists are Bruce Springsteen, The Killers, Erasure, ELO, The Adventures, OMD, Sam Fender, Dua Lipa, Neil Diamond and so many more. I aim to get people’s feet tapping and dancing around their houses or if they are at work, making their day go a bit quicker. Playing music from the 60s through to today. Remixes, classics, forgotten gems and your personal requests.
