Four men have been arrested after a man was reportedly assaulted outside a Scunthorpe home.
The victim claimed to have been attacked in Dale Street on Tuesday evening and police said he suffered “minor injuries”. The four men remain in police custody and the investigation is ongoing.
In a statement today, Humberside Police said: “Four men have been arrested following a reported assault on Dale Street in Scunthorpe earlier this week. We were called at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, 28 November, with reports that a man had allegedly been assaulted outside a property.

“The victim suffered what are thought to be minor injuries in the incident. Four men have been arrested on suspicion of assault, robbery and other offences in connection with the incident. They remain in our custody whilst enquiries continue.
“We are asking any witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, to ring our non-emergency 101 line quoting log 364 of Tuesday 28 November or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
