A thief who stole £450 worth of cleaning products and clothing, people failing to supply details for Council Tax purposes and offenders disregarding court orders – it’s been another busy week at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court.
While some cases were adjourned to be tried at a later date and others withdrawn altogether, magistrates in Grimsby still handed out hefty fines and new and updated community requirements to offenders from across northern Lincolnshire.
Here are ten people who have appeared at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court in recent days.

Nicola Baines, 50, of Dryden Road, Scunthorpe admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend Rehabilitation Activity Requirement appointments. She was originally handed the order for stealing cleaning and laundry products worth £325 from B&M and £122 worth of clothing from Matalan. She was given new and varied community order requirements.
Natalie Dixon, 30, of Albert Place, Grimsby admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend appointments with the Probation Service. She was originally handed the order for three counts of theft from Heron Foods on Freeman Street. She was ordered to undergo treatment for drug dependency as a non-resident at We Are With You for six months.
James Luckman, 41, of Halifax Drive, Telford pleaded guilty to failing to supply income and employment details for Council Tax purposes. He was ordered to pay costs of £200, fined £146 and ordered to pay a victim services surcharge of £58.
Malcolm Marper, 59, of Fraser Street, Grimsby was found guilty of failing to supply income and employment details for Council Tax purposes. He was ordered to pay costs of £220, fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim services surcharge of £88.
Declan Nadin, 27, of Poplar Road, Cleethorpes was found guilty of failing to supply income and employment details for Council Tax purposes. He was ordered to pay costs of £220, fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim services surcharge of £88.
Warren Carter, 33, of Caenby Road, Scunthorpe admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend Rehabilitation Activity Requirement appointments. He was fined £250.
Shauni High, 32, of Dean Road, Scunthorpe admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work sessions. She was fined £150.
Scott Smith, 35, of Plumtree Way, Scunthorpe admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work appointments. He was fined £100.
Ryan Barham, 27, of Gilbey Road, Grimsby admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by being absent from the specified place of his curfew for a total of one hour and 54 minutes between December and January. The security seal of his Home Monitoring Unit was also removed. He was fined £50.
Shelby Kilty, 23, of St Albans Close, Hibaldstow admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend Rehabilitation Activity Requirement appointments. She was fined £50.
