A man in possession of a knife, a thief who stole hundreds of pounds’ worth of shop stock and offenders caught breaching domestic violence orders, one of which was hidden inside a cupboard at the victim’s home – these are just some people to appear in Grimsby Magistrates’ Court last week.
While some cases were adjourned to be tried at Grimsby Crown Court and others postponed to a later date, magistrates still handed out prison sentences, suspended sentences and hefty fines.
