North Lindsey College will be opening its doors to the public for its final open event of the year on Tuesday, June 25 from 4.30pm to 7pm.
Prospective students of all ages are encouraged to visit the event to see the variety of routes into industry that are available at their local college.
Every year, hundreds of people – including school leavers and those returning to education – attend the open event to discuss their options, make an application and start their journey with the college in September.

The entire campus will be open, with curriculum areas showcasing their facilities which will be supported by current students and staff who are on hand to talk to.
The college aims to offer innovative experiences to visitors, with the night’s programme including demonstrations in the specialist air cabin. The Animal Care Centre will also be open, and visitors will be able to see more than 70 species and take part in animal handling sessions.
‘Create an Image’ and ‘Time to Shine’ is the theme being showcased by Hair and Beauty students and performances will be taking place throughout the evening from the Music, Performing Arts and Dance students.
The College Careers Team will also be available on the night to to offer advice about prospective students’ next steps.
“This is an Ideal opportunity to find out for yourself what North Lindsey College has to offer,” says Trish Riordan, Careers Adviser at North Lindsey College. “The public will be impressed with the investments made to our campus, coupled with our enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable staff and students.”
Izabel Lightfoot, who attended the October Open Event, said: “The staff and students were helpful in all the areas we visited. The event was useful in helping to make my decision and I am looking to apply to the Uniformed Services course starting in September.”
Other DN Colleges Group providers will also be attending, such as the UCNL for those wanting to find out about degrees, Foundation degrees and Higher National Diplomas across a wide range of programme areas, or the Apprenticeship team for those looking at apprenticeships.
