Christopher Lawrence and Lily Tong, graduates of the BSc Applied Animal Welfare Science degree, said: “Our journey through university has been one we will never forget. University was intimidating at first, with most of us having times of doubt but thanks to the tutors and their incredible teaching, the doubt didn’t last long.

“Once we had actually settled in, the course was amazing teaching you everything and more that you need to know on the subjects. There is one thing that stands out which is, you come into university as one person and you leave as a better version of that person.

“When we found out we were going to graduation, we breathed a great sigh of relief since it meant we had finished our course and all our hard work had paid off.

“The day of the ceremony was great, making you feel extremely unique and very special, and being able to enjoy that with your tutors was the icing on the cake.

“We owe a tremendous thanks to everyone engaged with the Animal Welfare Science foundation and BSc Applied Animal Welfare Science degrees – the tutors are what made this possible. Keep up the good work.”

Places are still available to study at the UCNL in September 2023 with the next Open Evening taking place on Thursday, September 14, 4.30pm-6.30pm.
