A child has been “seriously injured” after being hit by a car in Scunthorpe.
Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident on Sycamore Crescent at around 3.30pm on Thursday, October 31. Officers received reports that a car had collided with a child as they crossed the road with their parent.
A spokesperson for the force added: “The driver stopped at the scene and the child was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment to an injury that is thought to be serious but not life changing.
“If you have any information or dashcam footage that could assist officers with ongoing enquiries, please call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 336 of 31 October.”
