A man has been arrested following a rooftop incident in Scunthorpe.
Emergency services – including Humberside Police and crews from Humberside Fire and Rescue – were called to Sheffield Street on Sunday afternoon after a man took to a rooftop of a property. A cordon was put in place.
A 30-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, assault, threats to kill, and intentionally causing a public nuisance.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “A man has been arrested following reports of a disturbance in Scunthorpe at around 12.20pm yesterday (Sunday 16 February).
“It is reported that a man took to the roof of a property on Sheffield Street and cordon was put in place for the safety of the public.

“Emergency services safely resolved the situation, and a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, assault, threats to kill, and intentionally causing a public nuisance.
“He remains in police custody whilst enquiries continue.”
