Police want to speak to a member of the public who helped a man after he was seriously assaulted in a Scunthorpe street.
At around 7pm on Saturday, November 18, officers were called to Lilac Avenue in Scunthorpe, where it was reported that an altercation had taken place outside an address between two men known to each other.
During the incident, one of the men fell to the floor and sustained a serious injury to his shoulder. A 43-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has since been released on police bail pending further investigation.

Now, police wish to speak to a member of the public who is believed to have come to the aid of the injured man before officers arrived at the scene.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “If anyone has any further information which may assist officers with their enquiries, please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 408 of 18 November.
