Man steals car keys from Cleethorpes Leisure Centre and drives off in vehicle

A man who stole keys from a local leisure centre and drove off in the vehicle whilst disqualified from driving, a woman who stole items worth nearly £1,500 and a fly-tipper caught in the act – these are just some of the offenders who have appeared at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court in the last fortnight.

While other cases were adjourned to be tried at a later date and some withdrawn altogether, magistrates still did not hesitate to hand out prison sentences, fines and points on driving licences.

Here are eight offenders from across northern Lincolnshire who have appeared in court in recent days.
