Mobile speed cameras in Grimsby and Scunthorpe areas, Sept 3-10 including A18 and Ladysmith Road

A main road in Grimsby and the A18 will be visited by mobile speed cameras in the coming days.

Ladysmith Road and the A18 at Barton Street North will be the focus of speed monitoring enforcement over the next week, while other routes set to be visited by enforcement officers will include Messingham Road in Scunthorpe and Manor Road in Bottesford.

Safer Roads Humber and Humberside Police enforce cameras around the region to help crack down on speeding motorists. Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website.

However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region. Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in Scunthorpe and Grimsby areas.

  • Sun Sept 3: Sites across the region
  • Mon Sept 4: Ladysmith Road in Grimsby
  • Tue Sept 5: A1084 Bigby High Road in Brigg
  • Wed Sept 6: A18 Barton Street North (between A46 Laceby roundabout and Beelsby junction)
  • Thu Sept 7: Manor Road in Bottesford
  • Fri Sept 8: Messingham Road in Scunthorpe (between Moorwell Road and Bottesford Beck)
  • Sat Sept 9: Sites across the region
  • Sun Sept 10: Sites across the region

Humberside Police, in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, will be at several other sites throughout the week that are not listed above. Humberside Police reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time.
