There are also re-releases of older films showing at selected cinemas in the area on Saturday including the 1969 classic The Italian Job, 1984’s The Terminator, and The Amazing Spiderman 2 from 2014.
Ahead of the weekend, Parkway said: “This Saturday all film tickets are just £4! That’s right – less than a fancy coffee! So grab your mates, your popcorn, and maybe even your nan, because at this price, everyone will be going to the cinema!” A 95p booking fee will apply if buying online using this promotion.
Vue is offering £4 tickets bought at its Scunthorpe cinema or £4.90 when paid online. It said: “Want to watch more for less? Well on National Cinema Day (31 August), you can do exactly that.
“For one day only, watch the latest releases at Vue for just £4 a ticket (90p extra for online bookings). You know it makes sense.”
