Pubgoers in East Yorkshire will be able to snag themselves a free festive dessert next week by simply donating toys to those less fortunate for Christmas.
To get your hands on a complimentary slice of cheesecake, just pop into your nearest Hungry Horse on Thursday, November 14, donate a new or pre-loved toy, and say ‘Toy Boxing’ at the till.
As part of the chain’s annual Toy Boxing charity drive, the brand is aiming to gather 5,000 toys within the first 24 hours across the country.
This marks the fourth year in a row for Hungry Horse’s Christmas initiative, which re-homes toys to families in need.
Last year, the drive resulted in nearly 17,000 toys being donated to children across the country, with the chain aiming to reach and surpass the 20,000 mark this year.
Sarah Williams, senior marketing manager at Hungry Horse, said: “We’re proud to bring back our annual toy donation scheme for a fourth consecutive year.
“This year, we want to thank all our amazing customers for their donations by offering a free slice of our delicious Raspberry Trifle Cheesecake to anyone who is able to gift a toy to someone in need in their local area.
“So, make your way to your local Hungry Horse on November 14th, donate a toy, and savour a scrumptious dessert on us.”
