Residents of a Scunthorpe care home joined schoolchildren in a litter pick around their local area.
Edmund House Bupa Care Home teamed up with The Grange Primary School, in Ashby, to do the litter pick as part of their ongoing activities together. Pupils from Year 5 joined residents and set off into the local community, picking up over three bags of rubbish along the way.
The residents are said to have had a wonderful time with the children as they chatted throughout the challenge. The children visit the home weekly, during term-time, to enjoy activities with the residents such as reading or singing.
