Seven new retailers at Victoria Leeds take shopping centre to full occupancy

Yorkshire shopping centre Victoria Leeds is now fully let after seven new tenants signed up for space.

The shopping complex is at full occupancy for the first time since Victoria Gate opened in 2016, with new arrivals taking units on a permanent or temporary basis between now and Christmas. Victoria Leeds will see seven new openings between October and December, with retailers including lingerie, luxury home decor and fine spirits.

Home furnishings firm Cox & Cox will be moving into the Victoria Quarter this month, offering accessories, furniture, and soft furnishings, as well as festive accessories. Spirits specialist Wolfe Bros of Yorkshire will be opening a temporary pop-up in the Victoria Quarter for the festive season for a second year, selling artisanal gins, with flavours from Pear & Fig to Orange & Bergamot.

Meanwhile beauty salon Allertons will open a branch in Victoria Gate this month, offering hairdressing, massage, facials, body treatments, hair removal, manicures, pedicures, and brow and lash services. They also sell skincare, haircare, and wellbeing products.

Lingerie experts Pour Moi will also be opening in Victoria Gate this month, while Curated Makers will bring together more than 40 local makers, artisanal, and small businesses to Victoria Gate in a temporary pop-up. Raspberry Pi, a charity with a mission to bring young people to their full potential through digital tech, are opening a temporary store, selling single-board computers which teach the basics of coding and computing in an affordable, approachable way.

Libations – another temporary pop-up – will open a store selling its rum which is distilled, blended, and bottled in the UK. They also independently bottle rum from some of the globe’s finest distilleries via its Cask Reserve Series.

Jo Coburn, senior manager at Victoria Leeds, said: “We are thrilled that Victoria Gate is fully occupied, with every unit now filled and more to open in 2024. Victoria Leeds has long been a destination in its own right, but now fully let, there are even more opportunities for guests to take advantage of, and even more exciting new retailers moving in – many coming to the city for the first time. We’re anticipating a very busy festive period for everybody in Victoria Leeds, full of sparkle, fun, and joy.”
