Trevor was in agreement after enjoying “a spectacular meal” at Chao Baan. He said: “Steve & Benz seem able to get everything right at Chao Baan and the one thing they have in common (front of house and kitchen) is the attention to detail. It’s impossible for me to suggest even the slightest improvement – the greeting, the ambience, the food, the service, all ten out of ten.”

He continued: “We chose the chicken Pad Thai sharing plate and have never experienced that dish cooked in this way and with such taste and texture. I’m no culinary expert but what these two are doing deserves awards and recognition – beautifully home cooked Thai food with Thai sourced ingredients served with style. There’s nothing better.”

Jacqui’s overall opinion of the restaurant was: “Excellent food, excellent service.” She said of a recent visit: “Fabulous meal at Chao Baan tonight with lovely friends. Such a lovely restaurant with a very cosy atmosphere. Steve is the perfect host, couldn’t do enough for us. Hope to return again soon. Highly recommend.”

Mark enjoyed “super Thai food in a relaxed setting”, adding: “Another visit to this great restaurant for our anniversary. As always the food was excellent along with the very attentive service. Every dish I’ve had here has been lovely and a special I tried tonight was the same. Until the next time.”

Paul summed up his feelings about Chao Baan in the one word – “outstanding”. He commented: “Our second visit today and we were not disappointed. This authentic Thai is by far and away the best we have ever tasted.
