Two men were injured and one arrested after an altercation involving weapons broke out on Christmas morning in Scunthorpe.
Police were called to a property on West Street at around 6.25am on Christmas Day, following reports that an altercation which involved weapons was taking place.
Two men were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries which luckily aren’t thought to be serious. A 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “A man is in our custody after officers were called to reports of an altercation outside of a property on West Street in Scunthorpe at about 6.25am on Monday 25 December.
“It is believed an altercation involving weapons ensued and two men were subsequently taken to hospital for injuries which are not thought to be serious at this time.
“A 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
“A scene guard was in place at the time to allow officers to conduct lines of enquiry into the incident.
“If anyone witnessed the incident, or has CCTV footage from around the time the incident occurred, please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 86 of 25 December.”
